United StatesI ordered this belt in 2020 and it was great- the vegan leather was soft and easily pliable. I just reordered the same belt and the vegan leather is completely different- stiff and uncomfortable. I've tried wear it (thinking it might change with use, but to no avail). I know 3 years past, but I was expecting the premium quality I had before.
Hi Thomas! The belt that you have now is intentionally heavier. It's part of our effort to make our belts more durable than any other vegan belt out there. You'll notice that your new belt is thicker as well. That's intentional. But we hear your feedback and we'll work on making future versions just as durable and softer if we can so manage. We urge you not to be disappointed and give the belt time to mold to your waist and give the belt time to break in and soften up a bit!
