Professional 2 - Brushed Silver PVD 5.0 Vegan Belt
DESCRIPTION:
Most vegan belts stop at "vegan." We don't.
Most companies use Zamak, which is a zinc alloy for their buckles. It's the common buckle material used for mass production. Doshi belts mostly use stainless steel buckle, which is higher quality material which resists corrosion and wear and tear longer. The weight and feel will let you know that it's premium. The brushed silver finish has a less mirror finish than our Professional 2 Polished Chrome Belt. The difference is small but this belt is made for those who want a bit more subtlety to their buckle.
Most companies use PU. We use microfiber because the non woven base is tough and the top coat adheres to the material. It lasts much longer. We don't stop at microfiber. We've search near and far, high and low to find the best microfiber. Our main supplier now makes a custom microfiber for us where the base material is 60%+ recycled material. We try do do it ALL right.
Most companies don't consider what goes inside of the belt. We know exactly what's inside and the thickness. This belt is part of our 5.0 line where each belt is between 4.8 mm and 5.2 mm thick. That's anywhere between 10% and 25% thicker than our original belts and much thicker than most other belts (often 3-3.5mm thick). This thickness gives the belts what we think is the perfect heft and durability without being overbearing. We're confident you'll like the way our belts feel. The belts "break in" and adapt to your shape over time.

If you typically wear pants or jeans from major brands like Levi’s, Banana Republic, or Express, we recommend choosing one size up from your usual pants size.
