We simply make the best vegan leather wallets for men. Our goal is to offer quality, functional pieces that will last you for years. We started Doshi in 2017 and most of those wallets we first made still look almost brand new.

While we know that we make some of the best vegan wallets available anywhere, we wanted to share other vegan designer wallets and wallet brands in case you're looking for a style that we don't have. If you like one of these styles, we encourage you to look into the material that they use for their vegan leather. Faux leather wallets an take many forms. Just because it's a cruelty free wallet, doesn't make it good! Make sure it isn't PU!
Here are a few other brands you might shop if you don't find your vegan wallet with us;
1. Rahui make wallets from Pinatex (they only make women's). They use Pinatex, which is a material that we use and approve. Pinatex has no backing which we appreciate.
2. Gunas makes wallets from microfiber though they only make women's wallets.
3. Couch make wallets from repurposed vinyl - not the most eco friendly material but we think that the products should be durable.
4. Labante London makes some wallets from microfiber. They ship from the UK.
1. TLDR: Go with brands that give you details on what they use. Don't go for "high quality vegan leather."
There are a lot of nameless, faceless companies on Amazon selling products that are accidentally vegan. With veganism on the rise, these companies are vegan washing their products simply to capitalize on our movement. We don't recommend these products because they will undoubtedly sell you cheap PU products. Sadly, even the leading bag company in the vegan space uses PU (they used to use PVC!). Some brands mention "recycled PU." We bet that none of the brands can actually tell what specifically and how much of it is "recycled." We've seen this material being offered and while we appreciate whatever portion of the material is recycled, the fact remains that this product is not durable. This material claims recycled but sacrifices durability. That's not a good recipe for sustainability.
2. Any brand that passes PU as vegan leather or any brand. that doesn't specifically call out it's material as microfiber. There are two major materials used for vegan leather. PU is the one most companies use because it's much cheaper than leather. Microfiber is the one you want. You can read more about materials here.
3. Any brand that uses cork, apple leather, or cactus leather. With these materials, the cork, apple, and cactus are an extremely small portion of the material. Mostly, you are buying the polyester, cotton, or nylon backing. We use Pinatex and kraft paper specifically because they don't use backings. You get the real material all the way through. We don't simply use new materials because they're the most popular material around.
4. We're calling our Fossil as they are still using materials like PVC. PVC precedes PU and any company with common sense avoid PVC as it's been proven that the material is bad for the environment.
