Packaging, Shipping, Duties, Returns, Exchanges, and Missing Packages and Shipping Theft

We try to reuse clean packing material and boxes as much as possible. If your box looks slightly beat up or if your packaging material looks reused, it means that we have used that much less new material! Our request to you: Please reuse or recycle as much of the packing material as you can.
We process and ship almost every order the same day if we receive it early and next day if it is received later. Before holidays like Christmas, we'll ship multiple times per day. However, customers should allow one day for an order to be processed. On rare occasions, processing can take up to two days.
We are a startup company and have chosen not to build shipping costs into our prices. Customers are required to pay for shipping. In most cases we provide a flat rate which is subsidized for larger packages.
Please also note that the US Postal Service does not guarantee that Priority Mail will be delivered in the time that they have stated. Priority Mail Express is the only service that guarantees delivery time within the U.S. and to select international destinations however customers should add 1 day to process orders to the delivery estimate. Please note that the delivery time may vary depending upon the service selected and that the shipping times stated are estimates. We will not be responsible for postal service delays or delays caused by government agencies (customs) for international orders. Delays can also occur during events like pandemics. Unfortunately, the current Pandemic of 2020 is causing delays within the U.S. and even moreso for international orders.
Paypal has started a new service that allows you to return products on them for free if you use Paypal to check out. Please see the following link and read their terms:
Damaged Goods - Please let us know asap about goods that arrive damaged. It's important for us to contact the shipper to seek repayment in case of damage.
*International Shipping - Please note that you are responsible for retrieving your package when it arrives at your local post office. We have received a few returns from the UK where Parcel Force may not have notified the customer. It is imperative that you as the customer check your tracking information often and pay attention to any notices that you may receive.
For customers in the EU, we do not have an IOSS number. You will need to pay for any taxes and duties owed to your specific country.
Items Returned to Us Due To Incomplete Address: If you do not enter the correct address and the package is returned to us, we will have to charge the full (unsubsidized rate to ship the package again).
Items Returned to Us Due To Package Being Refused: If you refuse a package and the package is returned to us, we will charge the greater of $20 or a 25% restocking fee.
Items Returned to Us Due To Package Having Insufficient Address or Incorrect Address: We understand that mistakes are made and if you write an address that's incorrect and the package is returned to us, we will try to contact you. However, if you don't respond, we will charge the greater of $20 or a 25% restocking fee.
Duties (only for international customers)
Please note that international customers will be required to pay duties as charged by their country. We do not add the cost of duties to your order nor do we collect them upfront. If you do not pay your duties and the product is returned to us, we will process a refund less a fee equal to 20% of your order value or $20, whichever is greater.
1) Customers can return new and unused products within 30 days. While it is rarely the case, items that come back damaged will in most cases, not receive a refund. Bags should be returned in boxes with packaging material intended to protect them. If your belt or wallet comes in a Doshi branded box, please DO NOT put tape on the Doshi box. Please put the box inside the padded envelope that it came in. Tape will likely peel the paper on a box and will make the box unusable for a future customer's order. Returns without the original box will be charged a minimum of $5 taken from your refund.
Customers are required to pay for return shipping. We can provide domestic (U.S. return labels) on request and that amount will be deducted from your refund. In almost all cases, our labels will be significantly less expensive than what you will pay at the post office or UPS so it will be preferable to request return labels from us. We charge $5 for returns that are 1/2 lb. or less and $10 for returns that are 1/2 lb. to 1lb. For returns over 1lb., we will charge the cost of the label + $5 and round up to the nearest dollar.
Once we receive a return, we will return your original payment less shipping charges within 7 days (usually faster).

2) Please attach a slip of paper or the invoice and write return.
3) We recommend that you use a form of shipping that provides a tracking number.
4) Final Sale items cannot be returned. Final Sale items are in full working condition but are being closed out at heavily discounted prices.
5) International Orders and Returns:
For international orders, we may at times, ship items without the box to stay under certain weight limits. Items will still be properly packaged and protected. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU PERIODICALLY CHECK YOUR TRACKING NUMBER AND IF YOUR PACKAGE HAS NOT ARRIVED WITHIN 3 WEEKS, THAT YOU CONTACT YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE. UNCLAIMED PACKAGES GET RETURNED BACK TO US WITHOUT WARNING.
We accept international returns but the customer will pay return postage. If you do not pay your duties or pick up your package, and the product is automatically returned to us, we will process a refund less shipping and less a fee equal to 20% of your order value or $20, whichever is greater. You should expect to pay the duties that your country charges.
6) Item that were won as part of a promotion or giveaway also cannot be returned or exchanged.
We understand that you Type A, early shoppers might be shopping for the Christmas/Holiday season early! For purchases made after November 15, please have any returns or exchanges postmarked by January 7th (or the next business day if January 7th falls on a weekend).
Any purchase made after December 7th will carry the standard 30 day return period.
U.S. customers can exchange new and unused products within 30 days. For exchanges due to size (i.e. belts), we will e-mail (we do not physically send returns labels) a return label for the original product and ship out a new product once the return is received or if needed immediately, once the return is shipped and the tracking number becomes active. Of course, if there is any error on our part, we will ship the product for free. At times, we may reach out to you to confirm an order e.g. the size of a belt, esp. when two different sizes are ordered. If you ask us to ship without confirming or do not respond to our efforts to contact you, we will not provide a free exchange label. We are happy for you to call or email us to confirm your size! International customers may also exchange new and unused products within 30 days but are required to bear the cost of return shipping. International customers should also note the cost of duties that may arise and should take extra care when ordering. We are happy to help get the order right from the beginning!
For exchanges of new and unused products that involve completely different products, we require you to buy the new product (of equal or greater value) and then will ship that item for free. You will be required to return the original product and pay for return shipping. Once you return the product, we will refund the original purchase price (not including shipping).
Missing Packages and Shipping Theft
If your shipping status shows that your package has been delivered and it is not in your mailbox or on your doorstep, please look on the sides of your house or behind bushes. Delivery people will often hide your item from plain sight to avoid having it stolen. Please also check with neighbors or your front desk/doorman should you live in an apartment building. Once in a while, the delivery person will get the wrong address. If you still cannot find your package, please contact us and we will contact the delivery service.
While it is rare, it is unfortunate that packages are occasionally taken from customers doorsteps. Once the package has been delivered to your address and we can confirm it with the delivery service, we are not responsible for items that are then stolen. Should an item be stolen, please contact us and we will try to provide some assistance.
If you fear that your delivery cannot be safely left at your doorstep, please send the item to your work address or choose a method of shipping which requires signature. Please also make notations within your order so that we are aware.
Super Sale Items
For all super sale items, there will no exchanges and no returns. Super sale items include any items discounted over 60%.
Price Matching - We match prices for up to ten days from the date of your purchase. Due to the nature of retail and continuously changing promotions, we cannot price match after this period has ended.
We do not disclose any of your information to any other parties ever.
